Many rabbit raisers tend to give foods without even knowing first if those are essential or risky for them. There are a lot of commercially-produced rabbit foods out there which are advertised to be very good for pet rabbit – be careful on this, know what is necessary and understand what are the nutrients that your pet really needs.

  2. Giving ideal shelter. Giving the right pet rabbit care also means giving the most ideal shelter for your bunny. Housing it so that it is safe from predators that are roving in and around the perimeter of your home, safe from environmental  hazards such as extreme temperature and excessive coldness. You have to remember that there are specific designs when you decide to house your pet rabbit outdoor or letting it stay inside your home. In addition, it is also important that you understand which is more ideal hutch for your pet – is it a wooden type or the wire-type?

  3. Proper rabbit grooming. Does your pet rabbit really need grooming? Yes. Your pet can be very vulnerable to diseases if you don’t groom it properly. Long-haired rabbit needs to be combed as you can have trouble over matted hair – matted hair can lead to skin diseases and can possibly lead to more complications.

  4. Rabbit medication, health check-up. There are times that your pet rabbit needs medication or health check-up. You should know rabbit first aid and you should know when to visit an animal clinic.
